Tadmalaa can be executed from the relaxed position (hands at your side) or from the guard, but understanding and practice Tadmalaa will help you use it from whatever position you find yourself.
From relaxed position
To execute a left Thadmalaa from the relaxed position:
Left Arm
Lift your left hand up your center line, fingers straight and closed together, palm facing inward.
Once it is at eye level, pull back to cup your left ear.
Your forarm should be parrallel to the floor.
Right Arm
Lift you right arm up in a quick Beurt move, so that it ends up at 45 degrees, knuckle touching the forearm just below the elbow.
